Some say artists are born with natural talent. At Room 13 we don’t necessarily disagree. But we do question how much talent goes untapped, purely because it’s never discovered.

To help counter this, Room 13 aims to

keep young people all over the world engaged in education by giving them the opportunity to find, and immerse themselves in, their creative side.

As well as being a fantastic investment in the creative future, Room 13 inspires and empowers kids. They learn about themselves, develop potential and can even improve their place in the world. Importantly, it’s a whole lot of fun.

Children are asked to take full creative control over their project and the studio in which they work, and in return receive only minimum guidance by a local artist to help steer them.

The end results are often unique ways of looking at the world. Creative examples that teach and inspire us, and drive us to expand Room 13 so it reaches as many of the globe’s children as possible.
