Blackberry Playbook reviewed

I had the opportunity to play with the Blackberry Playbook.

Its smaller and lighter than the iPad two or the Galaxy Tab.

After the dull startup screen, the screen burst into a beautiful crystal clear screen full of vivid colour.

The "apps" is pretty much what you can find on Blackberry's App World.

All of the apps in the PlayBook is web based which uses the built in Wifi.  There is NO SLOT for a SIM card.  Its easy to use and setup and took me less than 5 minutes.  Works best if there is a Wifi nearby.

The only thing I don't like is what is called Bridge.  Which links your Blackberry Playbook to your Blackberry.  With bluetooth, it connects seamlessly, to your blackberry, and allows you to open:

- Messages
- Contracts
- Calendar
- BB Messenger
- MemoPad
- Tasks

Once you disconnect bluetooth then you would see the exclamation signs.  Also bluetooth will drain both your Blackberry and Playbook's battery.

Games
The screen was brilliant for NFS Undercover, the graphics was smooth and there was no lag and the screen was absolutely lovely screen.

The Blackberry comes in a variety of memory capacities, 16, 32 and 64 GB.

The Playbook uses the same charger was your Blackberry.
